Despite the common saying

That opposites attract

It's better left a mystery

How certain things react.

Why, you ask? - I LOL

I mean, just can’t you see?

There are certain people

that just can’t let you be.

I mean only imagine

If you put together

Two really different pieces

Like pizza and Nutella.

One is sweet, one’s savoury,

They’d wrinkle their nose in disgust,

That's why it's better for both of them

To let that option rust.

But who is this superior force

saying ‘P&N? - not meant to be,

go with the flow, don’t be like you’

Yes, this force is society.

Don’t look at me, don’t gosh and sigh,

you know that it is true,

if you ever dare to jump

the line they’ll stare at you.

Yet my heart it burst with love

for unconventional desires,

‘cause being different, being bold,

is really what aspires -

-Aspires me to try the fruit

- forbidden by the flow,

but only that way I can know

how I can truly glow.

So in the end it’s only left

to say that don’t you dare

feel caged and insecure, you are

unique - so proudly glare.
